LIVE

Thanks to Collège d'Alma, I had the opportunity to mix live shows in different places (auditorium, circus tent, student meeting place). I explored different roles that we can perform on a gig such as the FOH and the monitor mix. I also led a team and assisted with stage setup and teardown. I also had the opportunity to do an internship for a day on a professional show in Alma where I discovered the set-up of lights and screens. These experiences enhanced my adaptation and comprehension capacities as well as my speed of execution.

Auditorium

This auditorium allowed us to do live shows with a bigger production thank to its size. We used a Cl3 for the FOH and an M32 to do the monitor mix. I had the occasion to mix many live shows from different sizes of production.

Student social centre (student meeting place)

We had one show per week in this place with different music style every week, which forced us to adapt our technique while being efficient because we only had two hours and a half to be ready for the soundcheck.

Internship – Messmer

I had the opportunity to do an internship for a day in a concert hall in Alma. I mainly helped for the set-up of screens and lights. Then, I saw the show and asked my questions to professional workers.

Cégep en spectacle 2025 (Talent show)

This was one of the biggest shows I have ever worked on. We had two evenings of soundchecks and a rehearsal before the big night. My job was to do the monitor mix for the last three acts. I also had to handle the change-overs between each act (preparing microphone stands, move the instruments, etc.).
